In less than three hours I will be under general anesthesia and completely in the hsnds of my surgeons. I suppose more than anything else it bothers me that I have to trust someone else that much, with my fate. But foolishness aside, I am confident that the operation will be successful and my recovery will be fine too. For those of you who were kind enough to comment in my LJ, send me an e-mail or text, or call, thanks for holding my virtual hand. Thanks for everything folks:).

For those of you who are really worried about the outcome, don't be. Whatever the myriad faults of our(The US) health system, I will be at a major regional research and trauma hospital. We suck at preventative care, but this end of things...well we do that very well:). If anything goes wrong, there aren't many better places to be.

Anyway I CAN'T die yet. I haven't seen The Jolsen Story.

;)

See y'all soon.
